The first ever event promoted by Channel 83 will take place in two weeks, on Saturday the 11th of September 2004, in Florence (Italy). The event will feature a conference, an independent cinema screening, an art-exhibition, a buffet, 6 DJs, a live-set, 2 VJs, one performance, one video installation.

Channel 83 is currently looking for new contributions from both established and up and coming artists. Channel 83 is a website dedicated to the wounded body, and to everything which relates to the topic of wounding. We are therefore interested in human anatomy, body modification, art, cinema, performance, creative writing.
We are loking for both artworks to display in our gallery and for articles to publish on our website.
